The position and your daily adventures
This is a full-time remote position open to candidates based in Brazil. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-intensive applications that process billions of events. This role requires a profound understanding of Go and Python programming, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

The position and your daily adventures
This is a full-time remote position open to candidates based in Brazil. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-intensive applications that process billions of events. This role requires a profound understanding of Go and Python programming, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
What you can expect:
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using the Go programming language.
- Work with large datasets and build systems capable of processing billions of events.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in overall software development.
- 2+ years of experience with the Go programming language.
- 2+ years of experience with the Python programming language.
- Proven experience building data-intensive applications.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
- Experience with Postgres and Kafka and AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ownership of every line of your code.
- Previous experience working in startups and/or you created your own.
- Experience with AI integrations.
- Experience building recommendation systems.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Experience with streaming protocols like websockets and gRPC
